Each pot I make is?created for the person meant to have it, and for nobody else. If a piece of pottery hasn't sold, it simply?means the universe is still lining things up??
I did not make this?a "seconds"?pot because I absolutely love the chipped rim. It didn't chip after the pot was made, it chipped along the way and is glazed over and strong. To many, the blemishes like this are what make a handmade pot so beautiful.
As a side note: this chip has not weakened the pot since it happened during creation. It has been fired and glazed over and fired again.
