This XXL stoneware bowl is as classic as it is lovely. A true conversation piece and perfect for elegant or contemporary motifs.?
Add to that the fact that it was broken in the kiln and then fixed with Kintsugi, a Japanese method of mending pottery to show that just because something was once broken, doesn't mean it can't be worth even more and be all the more beautiful when it is put back together. It's a message we like around these parts.
Always cloth-clean Kintsugi pottery with warm water and no soaps or chemicals. The epoxy used with Kintsugi is stronger than the clay itself, but you'll wanna keep the metallic shine strong on the Kintsugi lines!
Ceramic Artist: Dan Pearce

This bowl was part of my "Big Bowl Series," which had more than 50 million views over more than a hundred different parts. That was sure fun, wasn't it?
