It took all three of the ceramic artists on our team to create this piece over the course of 1-2 months. With this entire collection, we got hyper-experimental with our building techniques, glaze application, and design. Each piece is truly one of a kind, meant to be a larger-than-life conversation piece.?

From pendulum-swinging glaze application, to slingshots, to boiling dried clay, to clay manipulation, to high-impact color application, we experimented with all sorts of techniques we've never seen any other potter use, and we were thrilled with the outcome of the finished works.

KINTSUGI: This piece ended up broken after it was finished and then repaired with Kintsugi, a Japanese method of mending pottery to show that just because something was once broken, doesn't mean it can't be worth even more and be all the more beautiful when it is put back together. It's a message we like around these parts.

Always cloth-clean Kintsugi pottery with warm water and no soaps or chemicals. The epoxy used with Kintsugi is stronger than the clay itself, but you'll wanna keep the metallic shine strong on the stunning oozy Kintsugi lines!

Notes about purchasing?items in this collection:

1. TYPES OF CLAY:
   - Stoneware (one of the strongest forms of pottery, literally becomes stone in the process)
   - Porcelain (even stronger than stoneware, and?costs more due to complexity of and cost of materials)
   - Raku (due to the nature of raku, the clay doesn't get as strong as it does with stoneware or porcelain. Still plenty sturdy.
2. Size has much less to do with pricing in this collection than difficulty and complexity of creating the piece. I use different firing methods, glaze techniques, raw materials,?clay type, stains, etc to get every finished pot, and all factors are applied when figuring out the final price.
3. I do my best to accurately measure each piece, but it can be difficult to be exact with rounded objects so the measurements may vary slightly.
4. Any pot labeled as a "seconds" in the product title means that it has one or more cosmetic shortcomings. This could include "s-cracks" on the bottom (where you won't see it), non-standard scuffs near the base, tiny chips, micro-surface cracks, etc. Every seconds pot is marked down 10-70% from what it normally would sell for.
5. Any accessories/props, or other bowls from the collection shown?in the photos, are not included.?
6. Always hand-wash handmade ceramics. Dishwashers are not your friend. This piece, if taken care of, should outlive us both. Always give it TLC.
